This customer in Gilbertsville, KY, called Frontier due to moisture issues in their crawl space. To mitigate moisture, we installed our StarPipe crawl space drainage system, drainage matting, and CleanSpace vapor barrier. We also lined the crawl space walls with SilverGlo panels for insulation and installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and a TripleSafe sump pump. We finished the project with a new EverLast crawl space door.

StarPipe Crawl Space Drainage System

StarPipe is a custom-engineered drainage system for crawl spaces. StarPipe's custom design has slots on each side, providing a drainage track on the bottom. StarPipe's unique star shape holds the fabric sleeve in place to prevent dirt from entering drainage slots

Drainage Matting Installed

This dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor.

Insulation of the Crawl Space

We install high-performance SilverGlo rigid foam insulation against the crawl space walls. SilverGlo does what fiberglass can't: stop air leaks, never lose R-value, and never absorb or be damaged by moisture.

CleanSpace Installed

One key ingredient in our encapsulation system is the CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a super-durable 20-mil plastic sheet designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space.

Piers Wrapped

Piers are wrapped in CleanSpace® poly to create a continuous air and moisture barrier.

Encapsulation Complete

The encapsulation treatment totally separates and protects the crawl space interior from outdoor conditions, keeping the space clean and dry.

SaniDry Sedona Installed

As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.

TripleSafe Sump Pump Installed

A TripleSafe® Sump Pump System (shown here), combined with a SaniDry® dehumidifier, represents the ultimate in crawl space waterproofing and humidity control.

IceGuard and LawnScape System Installation

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.

New Crawl Space Door

Our EverLast™ Crawl Space Doors are created with ½" thick solid plastic, and they will never rust, rot, or need paint. Sturdy knobs allow for easy access and ensure a tight seal for many years to come.
