Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Huntsville, AL

This customer in Huntsville, AL, called Frontier to complete a crawl space encapsulation. To start the project, we cleaned out all the debris. Then we installed our StarPipe crawl space drainage system, followed by the addition of drainage matting, a CleanSpace liner, a TripleSafe sump pump and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. We finished this project by installing an IceGuard and LawnScape drainage system as well as a new crawl space door.

StarPipe Crawl Space Drainage System

StarPipe™ is a custom-engineered drainage system for crawl spaces. StarPipe's™ custom design has slots on each side, providing a drainage track on the bottom. StarPipe's™ unique star shape holds the fabric sleeve in place to prevent dirt from entering drainage slots.

The SaniDry Sedona

Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance.

IceGuard and LawnScape System Installation

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
