Checking Humidity Levels in the Crawl Space
Checking the levels of humidity in this crawl space. These levels are high which leads to mildew, mold, and wood rot.
Mold Growth
The high moisture levels in this crawl space has lead to mold to start to grow on the wooden floor joists. This will be treated before the encapsulation begins.
Crawl Space Cleaned Out
The mold has been treated and all the debris has been removed from the crawl space. It is now ready for our waterproofing products to be installed.
Before Project Begins
With everything cleared out, you can see some spacing in the bricks of the foundation. These gaps will be filled with spray foam insulation before the CleanSpace is installed.
Drainage Matting Installed
Drainage matting forms a permanent seal for leaking crawl space floors.
CleanSpace Installed
One key ingredient in our encapsulation system is the CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a super-durable 20-mil plastic sheet designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space.
Crawl Space Sealed
Crawl space sealing and insulation will help you avoid unnecessary repairs, create a healthier living space, and save money on your utility bills. And once you've encapsulated your crawl space with a vapor barrier, you've gained valuable storage space in your home.
The SaniDry Sedona
Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance. As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.
New Framing Built
New framing is built to ensure the new EverLast crawl space door fits securely.
