Crawl Space Entrance
The crawl space entrance was covered by a loose plank of wood, allowing rainwater to flow directly into the crawl space.
Standing Water
The free flow of water in the crawl space was creating pools of standing water. Over time, this can soften the soil beneath the piers, causing them to sink and the floors above to become unlevel.
SilverGlo Panels
SilverGlo panels were installed to create a crawl space wall beneath the home. This provides a surface for the CleanSpace liner to attach to, helping seal the space so outside air cannot enter.
Drainage System
To manage water intrusion, a drainage system was installed around the perimeter of the crawl space.
Drainage Matting
Drainage Matting is installed beneath the CleanSpace liner to allow lateral movement of groundwater.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
The drainage system flows into the TripleSafe sump pump, efficiently removing water from the crawl space.
SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
Once the water intrusion was addressed, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to control humidity in the crawl space air.
IceGuard and LawnScape Outlet
The sump pump ejects water through an IceGuard and LawnScape outlet. The discharge line releases water at least eight feet away from the home to prevent it from flowing back toward the crawl space.
Creating a Door Frame
The Frontier crew installed SilverGlo panels to seal the crawl space and built a door frame between the panels. This will allow the crawl space door to create a proper seal once it is installed.
EverLast Door
The EverLast door creates a secure entrance to the crawl space while sealing the space from outside air.
