Old Crawl Space Door
Controlling what goes on in your crawl space begins with the crawl space door. Too often, a crawl space door is simply cut from a piece of plywood and secured loosely over the crawl space opening with hinges or screws.
Crawl Space During Inspection
During the crawl space inspection, moisture and debris are evident as well as a sagging crawl space floor.
Rotting Wood
As you can see in the photo, the subfloor is actually starting to rot. This is causing it to sink and will need to be addressed before it worsens.
Interior Cracks
When the crawl space floor starts to sag, the interior of the home shows signs like cracks around door frames.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
One key ingredient in our encapsulation system is the CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a super-durable 20-mil plastic sheet designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space.
The SmartJack System
The SmartJack Crawl Space Stabilizer is an adjustable supplemental support system used for sagging crawl spaces. It not only provides supplemental support to your failing structure -- it can also often lift failing floor joists or beams, restoring them to their original position.
Drainage Matting Installed
This dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor.
The SaniDry Sedona
As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.
New Framing Built
New framing is built to ensure the new crawl space door is a secure fit.
New Crawl Space Door
Our EverLast Crawl Space Doors are created with ½" thick solid plastic, and they will never rust, rot, or need paint. Sturdy knobs allow for easy access and ensure a tight seal for many years to come.
