We visited a home in Gallatin, TN, to tackle persistent crawl space moisture. After a thorough debris clean-out, we waterproofed the space by installing drainage matting and a CleanSpace vapor barrier. We then focused on air quality by sealing the vents with SilverGlo panels and setting up a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The installation was completed with a brand-new crawl space door, leaving the customer with a fully protected and dry foundation.

Crawl Space During Inspection

Moisture, mold, and debris are problems in this crawl space, which hasn't been properly sealed. The encapsulation treatment totally separates and protects the crawl space interior from outdoor conditions, keeping the space clean and dry.

SaniDry Sedona

Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance. As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.

New Electrical Outlet

A new electrical outlet is installed to support the dehumidifier.
