This homeowner in Tullahoma, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to encapsulate their home's crawl space. Inside the space, our crew found an old, damaged vapor barrier and mold growing on the wooden pillars. To facilitate the flow of water out of the crawl space, drainage matting was rolled out across the dirt floor of the space. After the drainage matting was placed, a CleanSpace vapor barrier was wrapped along the walls and pillars as well as the floor of the crawl space. SilverGlo insulated panels were used to seal off the crawl space's vents. To control excess humidity and eliminate mold growth, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed in the crawl space. To remove large quantities of water, a TripleSafe sump pump system was also added, ensuring this space remains dry for years to come.
