This customer in Benton, KY, called Frontier due to mold issues in their basement. To mitigate the moisture issue, we removed the damaged drywall, installed a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system, TripleSafe sump pump, and installed CleanSpace Wall liner around the perimeter walls, followed by an IceGuard and LawnScape system.

Drywall Removed

The water-soaked drywall is removed.

Trench Dug

A trench is dug around the perimeter of the basement in preparation for installing the WaterGuard system.

Weep Holes

Weep holes are drilled at the bottom of the block to drain cavities of any water.

CleanSpace Liner

CleanSpace liner is added over the WaterGuard system for an added layer of protection.

CleanSpace® Wall System

Unlike paint and materials that adhere to the walls, CleanSpace® Wall is mechanically attached to your basement walls with plastic drilled-in fasteners so it will never fall off the wall. CleanSpace® Wall will never chip, peel, or flake away from the concrete like paints and sealants will. Any water seepage coming through the wall will be directed down into your drainage system.

WaterGuard Install Complete

The WaterGuard system is fully installed, and a thin layer of cement is added on top.

Drainage Lines

Drainage lines are installed, leading from the WaterGuard system to the sump pump and then out to the IceGuard and LawnScape system for the water to drain.

IceGuard and LawnScape System

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
