Basement During Inspection
During the inspection, this basement is showing obvious signs of wall failure and water intrusion.
Water Proofing Process
The basement walls have been covered with CleanSpace, and a trench has been dug along the perimeter. The PowerBrace anchors have been installed in the floor.
Weep Holes
Weep holes are drilled to allow any water to seep down through the concrete block wall into the WaterGuard system that will be placed soon.
TripleSafe Sump Pump Container
An area is excavated for the TripleSafe sump pump container. After it is placed in the ground, the electrical components are assembled inside.
PowerBrace™ Foundation Wall Repair System
The PowerBrace™ is a patented foundation wall repair system that's designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time.
WaterGuard Installation Process
Our most popular drainage system, WaterGuard® is the ideal solution for most basement waterproofing applications. Unlike old-fashioned drain tile systems installed on the outside of the home, WaterGuard® is installed just underneath the perimeter edge of the basement floor.
PowerBrace Installation Complete
These steel i-beams will stabilize the wall in its current position without any further adjustment. Over time, the PowerBrace™ System can be tightened to make bowing or tilting walls straighter.
WaterGuard Install Complete
CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a super-durable 20-mil plastic sheet designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. It is placed over the concrete block wall. The WaterGuard system is covered with a thin layer of cement.
TripleSafe Sump Pump Installed
Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.
IceGuard and LawnScape
Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
