This customer in Nashville, TN, called Frontier for their basement waterproofing needs. For this project, we installed our WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system and a Trench drain around the doors. We also installed a TripleSafe sump pump to pump water through the drainage lines and installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier and CleanSpace wall liner. We completed the project by installing IceGuard to prevent floods from clogged or frozen discharge lines, as well as a LawnScape system. Now their basement is dry and clean.

Trench Dug

A trench is dug around the perimeter of the basement to prepare for the installation of the WaterGuard system.

Area Cleaned

All the debris has been cleaned up and taken out of the basement.

Weep Holes are Drilled

Able to waterproof concrete block foundation walls -- Weep holes are drilled at the bottom of the blocks to drain the hollow cavities.

Excavation for the Sump Pump

A larger area is excavated at the lowest point of the basement to accommodate the installation of the sump pump.

A TripleSafe® Sump Pump System (shown here), combined with a SaniDry® dehumidifier, represents the ultimate in basement waterproofing and humidity control.

Cement Added

A thin layer of cement is added on top of the WaterGuard system to keep everything in place and secure the system.

IceGuard

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe.
