Excavation Process
An area around the perimeter of the basement is excavated to make room for the WaterGuard system and another area is dug out at the end for the sump pump. All the water that the WaterGuard catches will go into the sump pump and be pumped out of the basement via drainage lines connected to the IceGuard and LawnScape system.

Weep Holes
Weep holes are drilled into the concrete block wall to let water seep down into the WaterGuard system.

WaterGuard Placed
The WaterGuard is put into place, and the sump pump is inserted into the trenches that were excavated. It is surrounded by clean gravel before cement is added.

CleanSpace
After the WaterGuard is placed, a thin layer of CleanSpace is added on top.

Adding Cement
A thin layer of cement is being added on top of the WaterGuard system.

CleanSpace® Wall System
Like our other wall systems, it can hold back water vapor passing through your foundation walls, directing it to your sump pump. With anti-microbial protection called UltraFresh built right in, no mold or mildew will grow on the CleanSpace!

WaterGuard Install Complete
After the WaterGuard is placed, and a thin layer of CleanSpace is added on top, everything is sealed with a layer of cement.

TripleSafe Sump Pump Install Complete
Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

Project Complete
The WaterGuard, TripleSafe sump pump, and CleanSpace wall liner have been installed. This basement waterproofing project is now complete.
