Signs of Basement Moisture Damage
This photo reveals clear signs of moisture intrusion in the basement, including visible dirt buildup, wall discoloration, and damp surfaces. These conditions not only point to ongoing water issues but also create an ideal environment for mold growth, musty odors, and potential structural damage if left untreated.

Prepping for WaterGuard Protection
The first step in installing the WaterGuard drainage system is to dig a trench along the interior perimeter of the basement. This trench will house the WaterGuard system and allow for proper water collection. We also drill weep holes in the base of the concrete walls to relieve any built-up moisture or seepage. These holes direct water into the drainage channel, ensuring it's safely carried away and doesn't enter the living space.

Lasting Basement Protection
Once the trench is prepared, we install the WaterGuard system-specially designed to sit just above the footing to avoid clogs while collecting water from the walls and floor. Clean drainage stone is added over the top to promote flow and stability. A vapor barrier liner is then placed along the wall to help direct any remaining moisture into the system. This layered approach ensures long-term protection against water intrusion and keeps the basement dry from the ground up.

Powering the System with TripleSafe
To complete the WaterGuard system, we added a TripleSafe Sump Pump for maximum protection. This powerful unit includes three pumps in one basin, offering redundancy in case of high water volume or power failure. It works seamlessly with the WaterGuard drainage system, collecting and removing any water that enters the basement to keep the space dry, even during heavy rains or unexpected failures. It's a reliable safeguard for long-term peace of mind.

Securing the System
After the WaterGuard drainage system and sump pump are installed, the trench is carefully sealed with concrete. This step restores the basement floor's integrity and prevents dirt and debris from entering the drainage system. Sealing with concrete also creates a clean, finished look while ensuring the system remains fully functional and protected for years to come.

Finished Basement, Fully Protected
This final photo highlights the clean and finished basement after our waterproofing process. The space is now neat, dry, and fully protected from water intrusion, providing a safe and secure environment for your home.

Safe Water Discharge
A water drainage discharge pipe is installed outside the home to carry water safely away from the sump pump.

All done!
Positioned at a sufficient distance from the foundation, this system ensures that any collected water is effectively directed away, preventing future moisture issues near the home's structure. As you can see here, the invasion to your yard is minimal.
