Basement During Inspection
Water intrusion is an issue in this basement. Standing water is visible, and the floor around it is muddy.

Area Mapped Out
The areas where the floor will be excavated are mapped out. Some of this flooring will need to be removed, and a trench will be dug around the basement perimeter to place the WaterGuard system.

Trench Dug
The trench is excavated and weep holes are drilled into the concrete block wall. Weep holes are drilled to allow water to come through the wall into the WaterGuard system and into the sump pump, and out of the basement.

WaterGuard Placed
Our most popular drainage system, WaterGuard® is the ideal solution for most basement waterproofing applications. Unlike old-fashioned drain tile systems installed on the outside of the home, WaterGuard® is installed just underneath the perimeter edge of the basement floor.

WaterGuard Installation
After the WaterGuard system is put in place, it is covered with a layer of CleanSpace is placed on top.

Cleanup
After the WaterGuard is placed and the CleanSpace added, the area is cleaned up before the last step. A layer of cement will be added to keep the system in place.

TripleSafe Sump Pump
Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

WaterGuard Install Complete
A layer of cement is added over the WaterGuard, and now the installation is complete.

IceGuard® Discharge Line Protection
Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe.

LawnScape™ Installed
LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
