Signs of Moisture
This photo shows a "before" image, highlighting visible signs of moisture along the basement wall and floor, including noticeable discoloration and streaking.

Wood Rot and Water Seepage
The wood was beginning to rot, and the walls showed clear signs of water seepage throughout.

First Step: WaterGuard
The first step is to install the WaterGuard drainage system. This begins with drilling a trench around the perimeter of the basement, followed by creating weep holes in the walls to allow any incoming water to flow into the system. Once prepared, the WaterGuard drain is carefully laid in place to direct water through the proper channels.

WaterGuard Drainage System
This is another photograph capturing this step in the process, showing the WaterGuard drainage system being laid into the freshly dug trench around the basement perimeter.

Liner Down
Next, clean stone is backfilled around and over the WaterGuard system, followed by the placement of a liner on top. This seals the system and prevents any concrete from seeping through during the final pour.

WaterGuard Complete!
The final step is pouring concrete over the WaterGuard system, creating a smooth, finished surface while fully sealing and securing the drainage system in place.

TripleSafe Sump Pump System
A TripleSafe Sump Pump was installed to ensure that any water entering the basement is captured by the WaterGuard system and directed to the sump for proper and efficient removal.

Discharge Pipe Allows Water to Be Carried Safely Away
A discharge pipe is then installed to carry the water from the sump pump safely outside the home, allowing it to be properly drained away from the foundation.

Like We Were Never There
After the drainage pipe is installed, the lawn is restored and covered to maintain the yard's appearance. Any water discharged through the pipe is safely directed away from the home's foundation using the LawnScape outlet.

This Customer Can Rest Assured
With the project now complete, the homeowner can rest easy knowing that any water entering the basement will be effectively managed by the WaterGuard drainage system and the TripleSafe Sump Pump.
