Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Bumpus Mills, TN

This customer in Bumpus Mills, TN called us for his basement waterproofing needs. For this project, we installed our patented DryTrak drainage system and our WaterGuard drainage system. We also installed a TripleSafe sump pump and drainage lines that led to an IceGuard System and LawnScape system to pull all the water from the structure into the yard.

Trench Dug

A trench is dug around the perimeter of the basement and weep holes are drilled to let any water seep out of the concrete block wall into the drainage system.

Sump Pump Placed

An area in the basement is excavated for the placement of the sump pump container. The mechanical components of the sump pump are put together inside once the container is placed in the ground.

DryTrak®

As a baseboard drainage system, DryTrak® installs above the floor and along the inside perimeter of the basement.

DryTrac Installation

If you have a monolithic foundation, meaning that your floor and footing were poured as one piece, this is the only drainage system that's appropriate.

Drainage System Sealed

As a sealed basement drain that is placed on top of your basement floor and against the wall, there is no opening for debris to collect in the system from the basement floor.

Concrete Applied

Once the drainage system is installed, a thin layer of concrete is placed on top. This seals the system in place.

Drainage System Installed

The drainage system is fully installed. Now this basement is waterproofed, and water will flow through the drainage system and into the sump pump and out through the drainage lines.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

IceGuard® Discharge Line Protection

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe.

LawnScape™

LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
