Trench Dug
A trench is dug around the perimeter of the basement and weep holes are drilled to let water can seep into the WaterGuard system once it's installed.
Trench Drain
A trench drain is installed at the doorway to the basement. This will ensure if any water tries to enter through the doorway it will fall into this drain.
WaterGuard is Installed
Our most popular drainage system, WaterGuard is the ideal solution for most basement waterproofing applications. Unlike old-fashioned drain tile systems installed on the outside of the home, WaterGuard is installed just underneath the perimeter edge of the basement floor.
WaterGuard Installation Process
After the WaterGuard is installed, clean gravel is added around the drain.
CleanSpace Installed
CleanSpace is added to the exterior wall and a thin layer is also added on top of the WaterGuard system.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level.
Cement Added
After the WaterGuard is placed and the gravel and CleanSpace added, a thin layer of cement is added on top to secure all the products.
Trench Drains Added
For areas that are hard to get around like water heaters, we add trench drains that connect to the WaterGuard on the perimeter.
Interior Waterproofing Complete
The CleanSpace has been added, WaterGuard installed, and cemented in. This part of the project is complete.
Drainage Lines being Installed
The drainage lines are being assembled in the yard, these will connect and let water drain from the sump pump into the yard far from the structure.
IceGuard System Installed
Water escapes from the IceGuard fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe.
LawnScape Installed
LawnScape is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
