During the inspection, the design specialist found an outdated sump pump and signs of hydrostatic pressure pushing water through the foundation walls. To address the water intrusion, the Frontier crew installed a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system connected to two TripleSafe sump pumps. CleanSpace wall liner was installed to direct water into the drainage system, where it is collected and pumped safely outside the home. The system was completed with IceGuard and LawnScape Outlets to help keep water away from the foundation.

Placing the Sump Pump

The hole must be dug for the size of the sump pump. The crews often encounter bedrock due to the central basin of Middle Tennessee.

The first TripleSafe sump pump was placed in the safe room with the drainage system connecting to it.
