A customer in Paducah, KY, called Frontier after a water intrusion in their basement. To start the project, we had to remove the water-damaged drywall. To waterproof their basement, we installed a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and added CleanSpace where the drywall was removed, and a TripleSafe sump pump to pump water through the drainage lines. We also installed IceGuard to prevent floods from clogged or frozen discharge lines and a LawnScape system. Now their basement is dry and clean.

Trench Dug

A trench is dug around the perimeter of the basement to place our WaterGuard system.

Weep Holes

Weep holes are drilled into the concrete block to let water drain from the walls into the trench.

WaterGuard Installation Process

CleanSpace Installed on Walls

CleanSpace is added over the walls. Like our other wall systems, it can hold back water vapor passing through your foundation walls, directing it to your sump pump. With anti-microbial protection called UltraFresh built right in, no mold or mildew will grow on the CleanSpace!

CleanSpace Liner Installed

CleanSpace liner is added on top of of the WaterGuard system for an added layer of protection.

WaterGuard Fully Installed

The system sits on top of the footing, away from the "mud zone" underneath your floor. Water is collected without the risk of clogs that would halt your system.

TripleSafe Sump Pump Installed

Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

CleanSpace® Wall Installed

CleanSpace is installed over the places where the drywall has had to be removed due to water damage.

Cement Added

Cement is added over the WaterGuard system to keep everything in place.
