Water Intrusion
Obvious water intrusion i this homes basement.
Excavating
Excavating areas for the drainage system and sump pump.
Excavation Complete
An area has been excavated to fit the WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter wall.
Excavation Process
An area is being excavated along the perimeter and at the lowest point a bigger area will be excavated for the sump pump.
Weep Holes
Weep holes are drilled after the area is excavated. This allows water to seep out of the wall and into the drainage system.
WaterGuard and Sump Pump
CleanSpace is added to the walls, the sump pump has been installed and the WaterGuard System has been placed.
CleanSpace Wall Installed
CleanSpace is added to the walls and placed over the WaterGuard system.
Cement Added
A thin layer of cement is added over the WaterGuard system to secure it.
Drainage System Install
Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
Project Complete
With the sump pump, CleanSpace liner, and WaterGuard system added and cemented into place, this project is complete.
