This customer in Paducah, KY, called Frontier to address a continuous water intrusion issue in their basement. They had already tried directing the water away from the home with a downspout extension but that wasn’t enough to solve the problem. For this project, we removed the damaged drywall and replaced it with CleanSpace, installed our DryTrak drainage system, TripleSafe sump pump, and a trench drain at the entrance. Now their basement is dry and clean.

Basement Before Project

The basement has been cleared of all storage items and the project is ready to begin.

Starting to Project

Starting the project. An area is being excavated for the sump pump placement first.

Trench Dug

A trench is dug and the DryTrak is placed and surrounded by clean gravel. A drainage pipe is installed and connected to the DryTrak.

CleanSpace Installed

CleanSpace is added over the walls. Like our other wall systems, it can hold back water vapor passing through your foundation walls, directing it to your sump pump. With anti-microbial protection called UltraFresh built right in, no mold or mildew will grow on the CleanSpace!

Sump Pump

The DryTrak is installed and all feeds into the TripleSafe sump pump being assembled.

Sump Pump Installed

Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

Trench Drain Installed

A trench drain is installed at the door. Trench drains are used in high traffic areas like doorways and garage doors. It will catch the water and funnel it to the DryTrak system.

Cement Added

After the drainage systems are installed and the sump pump, we cover everything is covered with a thin layer of cement.

Project Complete

Installation of your waterproofing system should take our installers one, perhaps two, days under normal conditions. Our installers use quality licensed Basement Systems® products, which have proven effective for drying basements for more than 20 years.

Dry Basement

How do you dry a wet basement? By being insured that your are stopping water at the point where it enters the structure.
