This Kentucky family moved into their brand new home 6 years ago. They had thought they wouldn't have to worry about any structural damage in the house for the next few decades, but after 4 years of living in their home, they had noticed their crawl space start to take on water. With water comes moisture and when you have access to moisture.. mold is soon to follow, especially with wood paneling! The mold will soon make wood rot and cause major structural damage to your home in no time! Don't let your home's foundation rot right under your nose! Make sure to call us immediately to waterproof your home with these waterproofing products--
1. CleanSpace Liner
2. CleanSpace Drainage Matting
3. Super Sump Pump
5. LawnScape Outlet
They now have an encapsulated, dry, and healthy crawl space they won't have to worry about taking on 3 inches of water again!
This Nashville family was having issues with a moist and cold crawlspace, AND were having problems with their foundation. In order to fix their moisture problem, we installed the SaniDry Sedona and Condensate Pump to ensure higher air quality and to eliminate the growth of any more mold that might occur, because of the moist crawlspace.
We also installed CleanSpace Liner and CleanSpace Drainage Matting to encapsulate the crawl space to help with the moisture and drafty floors.
We installed a few supplemental beams and Smart Jacks to support their already sagging beams. The crawlspace jacks are strong and adjustable, so they can easily be moved in the future. The SmartJack steel tube is manufactured with a triple-layer, in-line galvanized coating, so they are protected from corrosion!
This Tennessee family no longer wanted a smelly and moist crawl space. Our solution to their problem was the Cleanspace Liner, Cleanspace Drainage Matting, and the TripleSafe pump. The drainage matting helps lead the water from your floors to the pump, so it can get pumped out of the home. Our team also installed the SaniDry Sedona, which is the world's most efficient, high performance dehumidifier and filtration system. The best benefit the SaniDry can give to this family is eliminating damp, musty odors!
These Tennessee homeowners were aware of how important it was to encapsulate their crawl space.. especially if the space has a dirt floor! Dirt floors are such a big problem, because they contain a lot of moisture from the ground. Which will eventually evaporate, rise, and create condensation when the warm, humid air reaches a cooler surface. And moisture and wetness in a crawl space is a BIG no-no! It causes wood beams to mold, which leads to mold spores floating around in the air..and 50% of the air that is downstairs finds its way upstairs to your living quarters.
If you're having especially awful allergies, you might want to look into how healthy the air you're breathing in is!
Our crew set them up with our vapor barrier CleanSpace Liner and CleanSpace Drainage Matting.
The CleanSpace Liner is puncture and tear resistant, and an anti-microbial agent is blended into the liner to kill mold and bacteria. The Drainage Matting creates the perfect channel for water to make its way to the designated pump.
We have a happy Tennessee family now that their crawl space is encapsulated.
This basement has been leaking for over 15 years and the home owner was ready for a permanent solution to keep the basement dry all of the time.
The lead did not start this bad but continued to get worse over time.
This home had been vacant for four years before the family moved in. When a home is not properly cared for for that long it can cause loads of trouble. The family had noticed moisture in the air, causing mold issues, and were on the receiving end of some bad allergies.
They wanted a healthier living space and just wanted to work with a company that they could trust.
We decided that the best route for them to eliminate their moisture problems was encapsulating their crawl space and installing a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. This dehumidifier is the world's most efficient, high-performance dehumidifier and filtration system. It stops mold growth, musty odors, and dust mites. This ultimately helps fight off bad allergy and asthma problems. It is important to take good care of your basement/crawlspace, because the air that is floating around under your living space will make its way up.
This Clarksville family had just moved into their house and started smelling a musty odor upstairs in their living area. They knew that the mold growing downstairs in their crawlspace was the reason for the smell and had called Frontier right away. They also were already aware that their non-encapsulated crawlspace was the reason for their drafty floors and could play a big factor in the allergy and asthma conditions they were experiencing.
Our team got right to work to make their crawlspace a healthy one!
They tore out all the old moist and moldy insulation and cleaned up the debris.
The team then put CleanSpace Drainage Matting down and installed the CleanSpace SmartDrain. They then layered the floors and walls with our durable CleanSpace liner and installed a powerful sump pump.
The crawlspace is encapsulated and clean, and the family is now no longer breathing in musty and unhealthy air!
This Tennessee family had lived in their 1995 home since 2002 and had no idea about the problems an unhealthy crawl space could bring until termite control informed them that they needed to get an inspection asap.
After being more informed about the problem, they were worried about their health from the mold and their home's foundation.
We had the perfect solution for them:
-We tore out all of the old and moist insulation (that was causing their wood beams to rot!)
-Cleaned up all the debris on the ground
-Installed our Drainage Matting to give the water flooding into their crawl space a channel underneath the liner to navigate its way into their Sump Pump
-Installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to prevent water vapor and humidity to pass through, therefore keeping their crawl space dry and protecting their structure from mold and rot!
-We also installed our powerful Sump Pump system to make sure water gets out of their crawl space!
Now their crawl space is not only clean but healthy too!
Don't forget, the air that is downstairs comes up and becomes the air we breathe every day!
This Tennessee family knew they were in serious need of a waterproofing system for their crawl space. They had a sump pump already and assumed that getting a newer, better, and more reliable one would be the solution. While one of our sump pumps could help get some of the standing water out, it was definitely not the best solution for this home. It was in need of a full encapsulation, because what they could not see under their home were hundreds of (mostly) dead spiders and their decaying webs. That, the standing water problem, dirt crawl space floor, and open entryway for "air flow" were all problems that could lead to mold, foundation problems, and health issues.
60% of the air we breathe upstairs comes from our crawl space or basement! You do not want to be breathing in insect carcass and mold. So, our crew got to work on installing our CleanSpace Drainage Matting, CleanSpace Liner, SuperSump Plus, EverLast Door, and Vent Cover (these last two products are vital to making sure moisture from the outside air does not find a way inside your crawl space).
The family is now happy with their encapsulated crawl space and healthy breathing air!
The homeowners of this 1966 home had noticed their flooding issue since they purchased the home 3 years ago. They had tried to create their own drainage system with wood and tar but were worried about the antique cars that they stored in the garage.
They knew they needed professional help to make sure no damage came to their home or their vehicles, so they called us and our specialists got to work!
They had taken out the homemade drainage system, dug out space for our WaterGuard (that would be installed around the walls) and TrenchDrain (Installed in front of their water heater and doorways). These products were installed so the water could be collected in order to make its way to the Sump Pump, that they had also installed, so the rainwater could finally be pumped out of their garage!
If your allergies are acting up more than usual or your floors are starting to sink in, I have some bad news for you. If you have these problems there is more than likely a large amount of moisture in your crawl space or basement and its causing mold to grow! Those mold spores growing in your crawl space are floating around and that nasty air makes its way up to your kitchen, living room, and bedroom and becomes the air you breathe!
The moisture also infects your wood beams and causes them to weaken, which in turns means a sinking and uneven floor that you're walking on.
In order to fix these issues, Frontier Basement Systems recommends a few of the products that we installed in this Savannah home:
and we also, recommend our powerful dehumidifier -- SaniDry Sedona
After these items are installed by our specialists, you'll have peace of mind AND fresher air!
