This Kentucky home had a rather long crack on the basement floor. The homeowner knew it needed to be fixed to prevent further damage to his home's foundation. The shifting and cracking of a concrete floor normally are not due to the floor itself, but normally because of the soil underneath. The soil collects water and then dries up, which causes the concrete floor to shrink and expand.
Our Specialists used PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete, NexusPro Crack Repair, and also NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal the crack. The NexusPro Sealant is the MUCH better alternative to the commonly used urethane caulking because it is UV resistant, therefore it can withstand harsh weather conditions and will not crack, bubble, or dry!

This Kentucky family had a huge tripping hazard and wanted it to get fixed asap before anyone got hurt. Natural earth and soil movement caused the concrete sidewalk to crack and shift. One side of the cracked sidewalk was over an inch above the other and our inspector knew exactly what to do. This Kentucky homeowner had their AC sitting on a cement pad that was connected to their house. The pad started sinking and broke off from the home. This could have been caused by many things, such as the soil not being properly prepared before cement was laid on top or soil shifting from erosion or an earthquake. Either way, the pad settled and was causing an unsightly crack that opened up the homes foundation to outside elements.
Our solution to this easily fixed problem was PolyLevel and NexusPro. PolyLevel is polyurethane foam that is injected to lift sunken slabs. Long-lasting NexusPro was then used to seal the crack. This sealant cures in just 60 minutes and is not affected by extreme temps!
This customer in Benton, KY had an issue with major water intrusion into his basement/storm shelter after a large storm. After the water issue was resolved, we came in and removed the damaged insulation, cleaned the joists, and mitigated the mold issue.
