This customer in Lafayette, TN called Frontier for their basement waterproofing needs. To waterproof their basement, we installed a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system, TrenchDrain, SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, a TripleSafe sump pump, and IceGuard with a LawnScape system to move the water out to the yard away from the structure.
This customer in Lafayette, TN called Frontier due to moisture concerns in the crawl space. To seal off and waterproof the crawl space we installed SilverGo panels over the crawl space vents and drainage matting, encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace system, and installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Now this customer's crawl space is clean and dry.
The homeowners had noticed problems with their recent purchase of this 90's home as soon as the first heavy rainfall came. After 5 inches of rainfall, they had issues of leaks coming from the crawl space running through an interior wall and into their garage. Now that is a problem that no one wants to have!
They knew that this problem could only lead to bigger issues, such as smelly odors and uneven floors, so they gave us a call. We decided to seal their crawl space with CleanSpace drainage matting and liner, as well as add a sump pump, so there is no leaking or flooding. These homeowners have had a problem with temporary standing water in their crawl space for 10 years. This was causing mold to grow on the wood floor joists, which began rotting and weakening it. The homeowners also complained of termites and a soft spot in their floor above. The termites are attracted to soft wood.. wood that is infested with fungi or rotting. And soft spots on wood floors are because the floor joists are no longer supporting the wood floors like they should, mostly due to mold weakening them.

They also installed CleanSpace Liner, a 20mil thick vapor barrier liner, and CleanSpace Drainage Matting to help trapped water flow to the designated drain. The SaniDry Sedona was installed to keep humidity levels below 55% to help stop the growth of mold. We also installed IceGuard to ensure your space won't flood if your discharge lines become frozen.
