This homeowner noticed that the basement wall was starting to bow in the center. Knowing how bad this can get and how fast it can get bad, he decided to call Frontier Basement System, Lucky for him he caught this just in time. We were able to go out and secure the wall using Carbon Fiber Straps, Carbon fiber is a very high tensile strength material that is almost impossible to stretch. Because it doesn’t stretch, it can be "glued" to concrete walls to keep them from bending or bowing inward. Carbon fiber straps have become a fairly common method for reinforcing basement walls, and when installed properly they can be effective in holding the center of the wall in place.
