This customer in Mount Juliet, TN needed crawl space repair to his home. The beams holding the home up were starting to rot and become structurally unsound. Because it's built directly underneath your home, your crawl space plays a key role in your home's structural integrity. Crawl spaces bear this weight through the foundation walls and crawl space support columns. As a floor sags, this problem is often associated with other issues, including cracking drywall, skewed door and window openings, and a potentially moldy, musty odor in the house. Our SmartJack® system is designed to straighten and strengthen sagging floors over crawl space.
Tim in Mount Juliet, TN, scheduled routine maintenance on his SmartJacks, but our technician found one had shifted due to soil settlement caused by excess groundwater. A full inspection revealed widespread moisture issues, including an unsealed vapor barrier, open vents, mold growth, high water lines, and a failing sump pump.
To restore the space, the Frontier crew installed a perimeter drainage system with a TripleSafe sump pump to manage groundwater. The crawl space was then fully encapsulated with drainage matting and CleanSpace liner, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was added to control humidity and keep the space dry.
This Mount Juliet, TN crawl space was dark and damp before CleanSpace, the crawl space encapsulation system was installed!

To drain the water out of the crawl space we installed IceGuard and a LawnScape system.
This customer in Huntsville, AL called Frontier when he noticed cracking on the interior of his home and sticking uneven doors. Sometimes, crawl space support pillars are built on soils that are not strong enough to support the weight of your home. Over time, these supports will begin to sink into the soil. As they do, the floor they hold up will sink as well, leading to uneven floors and interior wall cracking. To fix the issue we used the SmartJack system.
