This customer in Smyrna, Tn had issues with sagging floors throughout their home. Sometimes, crawl space support pillars are built on soils that are not strong enough to support the weight of your home. Over time, these supports will begin to sink into the soil. As they do, the floor they hold up will sink as well, leading to uneven floors and interior wall cracking. Frontier came in and installed SmartJacks through the crawl space and in the garage to lift the structure back up to its original position.
This customer in Smyrna, AL called Frontier for a sinking crawl space. After fixing the structural issues with the crawl space with Smartacks, to address the moisture issues we installed an EZ Flo, sealed off the vents to the outside as well as sealing any areas where outside air was coming in, added Drainage Matting on the floors, CleanSpace for the floors and walls, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. We finished the project by installing a new secure EverLast crawl space door.
This customer in Smyrna, TN called us for moisture issues in his crawl space. We decided on doing a full crawl space encapsulation. This project included adding drainage matting to the floors, covering the entire crawl space with our CleanSpace liner, and adding a TripleSafe sump pump, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and drainage lines. We also added a LawnScape system that will carry all the water captured out to the yard away from the structure to protect the foundation and a new secure crawl space door.
Jeff in Smyrna, TN, hired Frontier to install a radon mitigation system. The existing vapor barrier was not sealed, allowing soil gases to enter the crawl space. To create an airtight environment and ensure proper suction, Frontier fully encapsulated the crawl space. The radon is now drawn beneath the liner and vented safely through the mitigation pipe, where it disperses above the roofline.
Every area is professionally sealed when we encapsulate the crawlspace, including the Piers.
