The health of a crawl space is very important, because 50% of the air we breathe upstairs comes from the crawl space/basement.
These Tennessee homeowners were experiencing an excessive amount of moisture in their crawl space due to a leak. They had said that they went into their crawl space often and it was normally wet. They were worried about the mold growth and it damaging the quality of their home.
After visiting our booth at the Nashville Home & Remodeling Expo and learning more about our encapsulation process, they took advantage of our free estimates and called the office to book a free inspection with one of our highly trained inspectors.
Our inspector noted the mold growth on their wood in the crawl space and high humidity. He took many pictures, so the homeowners could be more aware of what was going on and what he was referring to.

This crawl space with standing water and mold growing on the wood beams and walls needed our help! The excessive moisture from the puddles was causing mold to grow everywhere and weaken the wood supporting beams. This caused the floors above to become uneven and this led to the homeowners becoming very worried about the health of their home. Our trained inspector, Robert, met the homeowners at their home. He then inspected their crawl space, took reference photos, and moisture tests. He knew exactly what this crawl space needed. Our crew installed our CleanSpace Drainage Matting and then CleanSpace Liner on top. This liner is 20mil thick and made of 7 layers of polyethylene composition. It is specifically made to reduce moisture in the crawl space. We also installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump, which has 3 different automatically changing pumps, as well as our powerful SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to ensure the humidity levels stays below 55%. A few other accompanying products include the IceGuard to ensure your space doesn't flood if your discharge lines freeze and a LawnScape Outlet, which has a removable top for easier access!
