This Tennessee crawl space was one for the books! It shows the exact reason why some homeowners do not want to go into their crawl space.. and without going in to your crawl space, it is hard to pinpoint some of the signs that you have an unhealthy one from your living quarters.
The homeowners had noticed that cracks were forming in the walls upstairs, doors were having trouble closing, and floors were "bouncy" in a few areas, Thankfully, this family called us before severe damage occurred. They wanted a company that could solve their moisture issues at a good cost.
They called us for a free inspection and after our inspector looked around their home, he told them what he found and what we could do to help.

These homeowners really wanted to be able to utilize their crawl space for extra storage. They tried a few times to store items down there but since it was so humid and there was a lot of bugs it just never worked out without something being damaged. Together with the homeowners it was decided that a full encapsulation of their crawl space would make this space usable. Cracking and sinking concrete was a concern for this homeowner, who called Frontier for help. PolyLevel system was used to fix the problem and eliminate the chances of an accident happening from tripping over a large gap in the concrete. The result? A clean and even walkway without the threat of tripping.
Lift, Level, & Stabilize Concrete Front Steps with special emphasis to attempt to realign step's railings so it could be reattached. Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair uses PolyLevel injections for this project. After this was done, we repaired cracks using NexusPro Joint Sealant. The before and after photos tell the story.
These front walkway steps were completely broken apart and away from the front porch steps. You can also see wash-out under the main stairway in the 'before' photo. Using PolyLevel injectiosn to lift and stabilize, and NexusPro to seal the cracks, this entrance is usable and safe once again. Trust Frontier!
