These homeowners in Hampshire Tennessee were struggling with high moisture levels in their crawl space and it was making their floors warp and squeaky. After a thorough inspection it was decided that a full encapsulation of their crawl space with CleanSpace was the right solution for their home. This large crawl space had a Dehumidifcation system installed which is designed to control the humidity level of the crawl space while removing dust and odors. Along with the addition of a CleanSpace encapsulation system, which included wrapping the concrete piers to prevent moisture from entering the space through the piers themselves. It is safe to say this space will remain dry and odor free for many years to come!
By installing a drainage system around the inside of the basement along the wall, you can capture water at the most common point of entery, the floor/wall joint. You can also capture water from the walls and prevent the center of the floor from leaking by intercepting the water at the perimeter of the floor before it gets to the center.
