This family has beem a happy customer of ours for over two years. In 2012 they had us take a look at their wet crawlspace and sinking foundation. We lifted their sinking slab with push piers, and insulated and encapsulated the crawlspace with CleanSpace and Delta Drainage matting, helping create a useable storage space in the previously damp crawl. They had been very pleased with the foundaiton work and the new storage space.
So in 2014, when the other side of their slab started sinking, they knew who to call for help with the repairs. We were able to install more push piers on the opposite side of their home, stabilizing the entire foundation. We were even able to use our PolyLevel to lift their sinking sidewalks! Now with their Fuondation Supportworks Push Piers, their home will be stable for years to come!
When the customer purchased this log home, they recognized that the tall crawlspace could be used to store more than old rakes. Also, the cold floors above the space were not only uncomfortable, but getting expensive as well. They were referred to us by a neighbor, and asked us to take a look at the problem.
The first thing we noticed was the sagging, sinking pink insulation. This old fashioned stuff was hanging from the floor joists, certainly not where they are supposed to be! We knew spray foam insulation would be a better solution. This is a liquid that is sprayed onto the walls and floor joists, hardening almost instantly, to create a completely sealed insulated barrier which is more effective and sturdier than traditional fiberglass products. CleanSpace was also used along the floor and around the piers to help seal the space as well. We even added a custom door to the crawlspace so that it could be safely and securely used as a storage space.
Crawlspace is now dry, warm, and useable. The temperature of the home is also more stable, due to the improved insulation of the crawlspace below, which makes the house more comfortable and more cost effective for heat and air!
Terry and Patricia N. of Savannah, TN called Frontier Basement Systems because they realized their home foundation was so bad that it was literally going to cave in completely at any given day. The walls of their basement were bowing inward and were extremely cracking throughout the entire walls.
Frontier Basement Systems came to their rescue as quickly as they could, installing 14 wall anchors and excavating the entire outside of the home to not only fix and stabilize their foundation, but waterproof the walls of the basement as well to ensure that nothing leaks inside.
Today their walls are straight and stable and they no longer have to worry about their house falling, thanks to Frontier Basement Systems' Wall Anchors!
Jeffery P. of Nashville, TN was tired of his cold, regular basement. He decided he wanted to transform his basement into a living area and Frontier Basement Systems was the company for the job!

Tim B. of Bowling Green, KY was tired of his concrete, wet basement and decided that something needed to be done. He called Frontier Basement Systems and they were happy to come give a free inspection!
Tim decided to invest in the job and wanted to completely finish and waterproof his basement. A TripleSafe complete was installed with waterguard to keep the water away from the basement. Then we placed MillCreek hardwood, waterproof flooring, insulated wall panels, an everlast window, and prestige tile on the ceiling!
Tim's basement now has an elegant look and was completely transformed! Not only does he love how it looks, he loves how it feels! The insulation makes the basement room completely comfortable.
Jack and Anna H. of Madisonville, KY noticed a musty smell developing in their home along with severe seasonal allergies, and, after doing research they realized their allergies and smell can be prevented with the right products.
After research they found that Frontier Basement Systems was the one for the job! They decided the problem was not only in the basement but the crawlspace as well. Water and mold was collecting in the basement and the crawlspace, causing the smell and health issues.
We installed a TripleSafe Complete with Waterguard in the basement to pump the water away and to the outside of the home. A Sanidry dehumidifier was also installed to clean and filter the air flowing throughout the home. We completely sealed the crawlspace with Cleanspace liner to seal the home, preventing moisture and critters, along with insulating the entire area!
Jack and Anna no longer have a musty smell developing and their allergies have decreased dramatically as well, thanks to Frontier Basement Systems. We were happy to help them!
We recieved a call from a customer who had 2600sqf of moister and mold problems. We knew right away that we needed to fix his crawlspace and completly eliminate his mold and moister problems. After one quick visit with one of our highly-trained expert inspectors the homeowner knew he had to do something to protect his home. Other companies before us "treated" his crawlspace for mold, scraping and spraying to elimitate the damage done to his building materials. We informed the customer that these types of standard treatments don't work as they can never kill the source of mold and eliminate moister.
It didnt take long for our homeowner to make a decision to get the perminate fix to a 5 year headache that he had been praying for. We installed a full perimeter SmartPipe System which lines the inside of the crawlspace acting as a gutter-like pipe system that catches water from all areas of the crawlspace and directs it to our award winning TripleSafe Sump Pump. However, eliminating the water is only the first step. Next, our production crew installed our super durable 20mil structeral CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep moister from evaporating in the humid crawlspace and creating wood rot and mold. Once we encapsulated the crawlspace, we installed our energy star rated Sanidry CX, a commercial grade dehumidifier to completly dry out all of his building material and leaving him with a relitive humidity below 50% killing mold's main source of life. Not only did this home owner get a dry crawlspace, but he also got better breathable air and a lifetime garuntee of no more headaches.
We are so glad we were able to fix his crawlspace issues as we do best! He couldn't have made a better decision than to turn to the experts and leaders in waterproofing in his community, Frontier Basement Systems!
After dealing with an old rusted sump pump, one of our homeowners in Antioch, TN decided that it was time for a change. They called us with only one concern in mind: "I need a new sump pump". With no probelm we imidiatly sent out a knowlegable representitive to address the concern. After a thorough inspection, our Sales Rep discovered all the issues the homeowners had because of their old pump. We recomended our Triple Safe pump system which was a answer to a prayer to our homeowners. They loved the success of their new pump so much that they also wanted to know about our basement air system (the SaniDry Up-right)
After installing both a new waterproof pump system and a better air system, these homeowners went from panic to perminate!
A home that was built in 1830 has been in this particular family for almost 200 years!! They just had the framing re-done and foundation work done due to the old age of the home. They noticed that it felt humid all the time in the house and had recently noticed that the crawl space was leaking.
They had not noticed any mold in the house. but knew that the musty feeling only meant trouble for the integrity of their home. They called another company to come out and give them an estimate but ultimately it came down to this family not trusting that the job would be done right the first time so they called us, Frontier Basement Systems, to do the job!
We encapsulated their crawl space. They now do not have to worry about controlling the Earth's moisture, preventing mold and rot and they get to save energy!
This job in Benton, KY was in terrible need of our waterproofing services. The floors in their house were rotting because their crawl space was so wet and moldy. They had only lived in their home for 5 years and since moving in, the conditions deteriated.
The most important thing to these homeowners was that the job was done right the first time, and they had a permanent solution to their problem.
We installed our Clean Space system and now they live in a moisture free home!
This homeowner's crawl space had a cheap, thin liner that did not protect this home. The homeowner had suffered from allergies and asthma. He knew that it was a result of his damp, moldy crawl space. That's when he had called Frontier to get his free inspection, and sure enough, there was mold starting to eat away at the foundation. Mold releases mold spores into the air that can cause asthma and allergies to develop.
Thanks to our CleanSpace Encapsulation System, not only is this crawl space clean and dry, but it now brings cleaner air into the house.
This homeowner was worried about the condition her foundation was in. She had seen mold starting to grow on the wooden structure and knew that it was only a matter of time before the floors and foundation would start sagging.
We installed our CleanSpace Liner, Delta Drainage Matting, SaniDry CX, IceGuard, Everlast Door, and the Classic SuperSump. Now this space is clean, dry, energy-efficient, and can also be used as an extra storage space without the worry of belongings getting damaged by water or mold!
This home owner was concerned with a moldy, musty smell that he kept smelling in certain areas of the home. He knew that there was mold growth in the crawl space and was worried that it could flare up health risks. That's when he had called Frontier to get his free inspection, and sure enough, there was mold starting to grow on the foundation. Mold releases mold spores into the air that can cause asthma and allergies to develop.
We started by taking the black liner that wasn't protecting the home from moisture, out of the crawl space. We installed a number of our products that help with moisture control such as the SaniDry Crawlspace Air System, CleanSpace Liner 20 Mil, Delta Drainage Matting, IceGuard, LawnScape Outlet, and our TripleSafe Single.
Thanks to our CleanSpace Encapsulation System, not only is this crawl space clean and dry, but it now brings cleaner air into the house. We provided the best permanent solution through our WOW customer service!
This Ashland City homeowner knew there was water always pooling up in their crawl space. Along with the risks of mold growth and foundation deterioration, they wanted to do something about their floors being cold in the winter. Frontier was able to help with both of those issues!
Encapsulating a crawl space will not only keep water and moisture out, but it can keep cold winter air or humid, hot summer air from entering a crawl space which affects your home and the floor's temperatures. Along with our CleanSpace Encapsulation System, we also installed our SilverGlo rigid foam insulation to help keep warm air in that is produced by the HVAC system during the cold winter months, and to keep the cool AC in the home in the hot, humid summer months.
Frontier provided the best permanent solution for this home!
Brenda B. and her husband noticed cracks in her porch and living room walls. This was caused by her home settling and her sagging/bouncy floor boards.
They noticed the problem only a few months ago, and the situation was getting worse by the day. They added pillars and wood beams to try to fix the problem themselves, but knew it wouldn't do the job right. They were wanting to remodel their home, but before that they needed to fix the bouncy floors. Brenda had done some research and she liked everything about our company, so they gave us a call!
Our inspector, Robert, came and inspected their home and came up with a solution for her sagging floors. Sometimes floor joists are undersized for the distance they span and the weight they need to support. Over time, the joists will sag or become bouncy because they’re not “beefy” enough to support the load imposed by people & furniture. But it is an easy fix with our steel adjustible SmartJack stabilizers and steel supporting beam! Our SmartJacks are actually designed to stop settling and can raise your sagging floor back to the proper level!
Now that Brenda and her husband have their floors back to normal and a supported foundation, they can remodel their home just the way they like it without having to worry! We're happy to give Brenda a peace of mind!
Audrey B. noticed a mildew smell upstairs and went down to her crawl space to see if that could be the source. She found mold on her wood beams and worried about the foundation of her home. She then realized her seemingly "bouncy" floors were because of her failing beams. She knew she needed to get professional help immediately, so she went to the internet to search for companies that could help her. She came across our networks (Basement Systems) website and liked the products that we had to offer. So, Basement Systems directed her to our company and we set up an inspection will her asap!
Hunter came and inspected Audrey's crawl space. He found out there was an excessive amount of moisture in the air that was coming from the vent (that many assume help with crawl space ventilation, but that's actually not good for your space at all if it is being ventilated with outside air!), the old wood door (that lets moisture AND critters creep through), and her soil ground. He suggested our CleanSpace Drainage Matting and Vapor Barrier Liner, SaniDry Sedona to keep the humidity level below 50% (above 50% is when mold can grow!), EverLast Door (made of durable and thick plastic that wont warp, rust, or mold!), and our TripleSafe Pump.
60% of the air we breathe upstairs comes from our basement/crawl space and that is why Audrey and her family were smelling the mildew aroma. We are so glad we could help this family have a healthy crawl space and living space!
