Cracked Concrete
Cracked concrete happens when part of a concrete slab breaks and sinks into underlying soil that has compressed or washed away. These cracks aren't just unsightly; they offer moisture a way to seep beneath the slab. This can cause the underlying soil to soften or even wash away completely. That in turn can cause the slab to crack further as it sinks into the void left by the washed-away soil.
Cracks on Driveway
To prevent moisture from seeping into the soil beneath, those cracks need to be sealed
Control Joints
The control joints that were cut between the slabs when they were first poured are starting to separate, these will need to be sealed as well.
Why Can Concrete Fails
Concrete is pretty amazing stuff. It can be poured, shaped and made into just about anything you like. But even though it's incredibly strong, it's not indestructible. So, when you see cracked concrete or a driveway or patio that has sunken or broken slabs or is pitted, flaked and stained, there are reasons why these things happen.
Poorly compacted soil
When your home was built, the movement of soil around the building site results in poor compaction. Even when the replaced soil is compacted well, it's never as stable as the original soil. Over time, this can cause voids to form and slabs to settle.
What to do about Cracks in Driveway
One of our design specialists will come to your home and inspect your concrete. He or she will then sit down with you and explain what caused your issues, how they can be fixed and exactly what it will cost.

PolyLevel Application
If you have a driveway that's sunken or uneven, replacing it might not be the most cost-effective option. We can use PolyLevel to raise the concrete, creating an even surface and preventing further sinking and cracking. Our driveway leveling process can eliminate unsafe conditions and improve the curb appeal of your home. The life of your driveway will also be extended for years without the need for replacement.
Strong but light
PolyLevel® weighs only about 4lbs. per cubic ft., compared to 120lbs. per cubic ft. for standard fill material. PolyLevel®'s light weight makes it useful where denser fill material might impose an undesirable load on weak soils. Despite its light weight, PolyLevel® can support substantial loads; it typically provides greater lifting power than mudjacking.
Concrete Lifted with Quick Curing
Downtime is minimized with PolyLevel® concrete repair. Full loading of the foundation, roadway, or other structural element can usually happen about 15 minutes after the material is injected.
Cracks Sealed
NexusPro sealant is a long-lasting solution for repairing cracks in any concrete slab.
Joints Sealed
PolyLevel® is a fast, effective option for repairing your sunken concrete driveway. First, your contractor will drill small holes in the slab. Then they will inject a high-density polyurethane through the holes. The polymer will spread beneath the slab and lift it up. Finally the holes are patched and the cracks are filled. You'll be able to use your driveway within one day.
Slab Lifted and Cracks Sealed
The slab is lifted and cracks are sealed, they are almost invisible now.
Driveway Pressure Washed
After Lifting and sealing the driveway cracks we completed a quick pressure washing of the entire driveway to clean it up before sealing the driveway.
Concrete Sealed
Unlike concrete sealers available at big-box stores, SealantPro® permanently protects concrete with just one application and extends its life by 3-5 times.
