The Importance of Annual Maintenance | Frontier Basement Systems

In this segment of the HomePros video series, Judy and Layne Gebers explain the importance of keeping an annual maintenance schedule for all the systems installed by Frontier Basement Systems.

During annual maintenance visits the basement waterproofing and drainage system is checked to make sure it is doing its job. The sump pump systems are inspected to make sure that the pumps are working properly, the battery for the backup pump is fully charged and operational, and the water alarm is still doing its job.

Outside, discharge lines can be checked for clogs and wildlife intrusion. Crawl space encapsulation systems are inspected for holes and air leaks. Dehumidifiers are tested and the filters cleaned.

Foundation repair systems also need a periodic inspection to tighten up and adjust the systems, as well as look for any evidence of additional foundation movement.

Frontier Basement Systems has a service department with knowledgeable, certified technicians ready to perform annual inspections and address any problems and concerns you might have in between maintenance visits.

Layne, Judy, and their entire team are dedicated to not only installing the best solution for your foundation, basement, and crawl space problems, but also honoring our warranties and making sure they work for as long as your house stands.
