During the inspection, our design technician found the retaining wall leaning, stair-stepping cracks along the foundation brick, and cracks forming near door corners inside the home. To restore stability, our team installed six Helical Piers with low-profile brackets outside the finished portion of the home and the garage. We also reinforced the basement walls with four PowerBraces, each featuring a 10-foot brace installed outside the Utility Room. PowerBrace Top Lever Brackets were used in place of the standard Telescoping Bridge Bracket for a cleaner finish. Finally, Geo-Lock Wall Anchors with 12-inch by 28-inch wall supports were installed along the retaining wall to prevent further movement and provide long-term stability.
