Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Goodlettsville, TN

This customer in Goodlettsville, TN, called Frontier for their foundational wall failure and basement waterproofing needs. To waterproof their basement, we installed a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage and a TripleSafe sump pump to pump water through the drainage lines. We also fixed the failing wall by installing GeoLock Wall Plates with Earth Anchors and a PowerBrace Beam. We finished the project with an IceGuard to prevent floods from clogged or frozen discharge lines and a LawnScape system. Now their basement is dry, clean, and structurally sound.

PowerBrace™ Foundation Wall Repair System

The PowerBrace™ System includes a unique, patented adjustment mechanism, unlike any other I-beam foundation wall repair system. The bracket that anchors each I-beam to a floor joist includes a long bolt that can be tightened over time to advance the I-beam. This can force a bowed or buckled foundation wall back toward its original vertical & straight position. The potential for straightening depends on several factors, including soil conditions outside the foundation.

A trench along the inside perimeter of the foundation wall is excavated and slopes evenly towards the excavated area where the sump pump.

Once the WaterGuard system is installed, a layer of CleanSpace is added before it's cemented in place.

After the waterGuard is in place, a thin layer of cement is added on top and now the installation is complete.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

IceGuard and LawnScape System

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
