Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Nashville, TN

This homeowner in Nashville, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their crawl space evaluated. While inspecting the crawl space, our system design specialist suggested a crawl space encapsulation. Once they arrived on site, our crew started the job by removing the old vapor barrier as well as any debris in the crawl space. Dimpled drainage matting was rolled out over the dirt floor to help with water flow under the vapor barrier. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is applied on top of the matting, with a thinner version of the barrier being applied to the wall and columns of the space. We sealed off all crawl space vents with our SilverGlo insulation slabs. To prevent high humidity levels and mold growth, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. As a final touch, we replaced the old crawl space door with our EverLast crawl space door.
