Drainage matting goes down after everything is cleaned out and leveled. Drainage matting is designed to allow water and moisture to flow freely underneath the vapor barrier without getting into the crawl space.

CleanSpace is the vapor barrier we use here at Frontier Basement Systems and is 20-mils thick and designed to keep water and moisture out of a crawl space.
