This customer in Scottsboro, AL, called Frontier for a crawl space encapsulation. To start the project, we installed our StarPipe crawl space drainage system matting, a CleanSpace liner, sealed the crawl space vents, and installed our TripleSafe sump pump and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. We finished this project by installing an IceGuard and LawnScape drainage system, as well as a new crawl space door.

StarPipe Crawl Space Drainage System

StarPipe™ is a custom-engineered drainage system for crawl spaces. StarPipe's™ custom design has slots on each side, providing a drainage track on the bottom. StarPipe's™ unique star shape holds the fabric sleeve in place to prevent dirt from entering drainage slots.

Drainage Matting Installed

Drainage matting forms a permanent seal for leaking crawl space floors.

CleanSpace Installed

One key ingredient in our encapsulation system is the CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a super-durable 20-mil plastic sheet designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space.

Vents Sealed

Vents are sealed with SilverGlo panels to seal outside air from entering the crawl space.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your crawl space and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

New Framing Installed

New framing is built out to ensure a secure fit for the new crawl space door.

Our EverLast™ Crawl Space Doors are created with ½" thick solid plastic, and they will never rust, rot, or need paint. Sturdy knobs allow for easy access and ensure a tight seal for many years to come.
