Challenge

Following this families discovery of elevated radon levels in their home, they called Frontier Basement Systems for help installing a radon mitigation system.

Solution

By installing a radon mitigation system the levels of dangerous gas will drop as there is now an exit flow through the fan system to remove it from the home.

The TripleSafe sump liner has perforated holes to draw air though the ground below the foundation and out through the 4 inch pipe going up the wall.

The fan is located on the outside of the building so that if at any time there is a mechanical failure there is no leaking of radon back into the house.

The discharge pipe releases gas above the roof line so that there is no danger of gas re-entering the home through any windows or doors.
