Challenge

This Nashville family had plans to move their mother into their homes basement, but first they needed to address the foundation and safety aspects.

Bowing or buckling basement walls are a common issue in our area, and when property lines do not allow for the excavation needed for our Geo-Lock wall anchors - our Powerbrace system is a perfect alternative.

Solution

Installed inside the foundation wall, with no excavation required, the powerbrace system stabilizes and straightens the basement walls.

Any crack in a basement wall should be cause for immediate attention by one of our qualified inspectors!

Stair step cracking is a common sign which typically means the issue is getting worse. As you can see here the entire wall is sliding out of line.

Attached to the floor joists above with brackets and attached to the floor, the I-beams can be tightened over time and bring the wall back to it's original position.

Zinc coated to remain rust free and with minimal space intrusion the basement is now ready for finishing.
