In Nashville, a homeowner faced a problem with musty smells coming from their crawl space due to high moisture levels and mold growth. To improve indoor air quality, we began by installing drainage matting, which helps water drain away and promotes better ventilation. Next, we applied a 20-mil thick CleanSpace liner over the matting to create a moisture barrier, reducing humidity and preventing mold growth. To further minimize moisture, we sealed all vents with SilverGlo insulation. Afterward, we installed a Triple Safe Sump Pump, IceGuard, and Drainage system to manage water effectively, even in extreme weather. Additionally, we installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to keep humidity levels optimal in the crawl space. The project was completed with the installation of a new EverLast Door made of 1/2-inch-thick PVC plastic, ensuring a tight seal.
