A series of Smart Jacks were installed in their home and now the homeowner’s no longer have doors and windows that are hard to open. To add, they no longer have to worry about their foundation.
This home in South Carrollton Kentucky was struggling with a lot of moisture and smell coming from their crawl space. A team was sent to their home to fully encapsulate their crawl space. First everything is cleaned out and then drainage matting is put down. This allows water and moisture to flow easily underneath the vapor barrier. CleanSpace (the vapor barrier) goes next which is a 20mil thick.
These homeowners in Belton Kentucky were struggling with their foundation. They started noticing doors and windows not opening as easily as they once had. The last step to crawl space repair everything the encapsulation is placing the crawl space door. As you can see this door is not 100% covering the crawl space entrance. This allows water, moisture, and critters to be able to get within the crawl space. As you can tell from the photo these homeowners are struggling with water in their basement. As you can see from the image, the actually porch has sunk and is actually sitting lower than the stairs. This was a tripping hazards for the owners and they wanted to get this fixed. We were able to go in, do PolyLevel injections and lift the porch back to its original position. No more tripping hazards!
This homeowners were struggling with a lot of moisture in their crawl space. It was so high that the insulation was beginning to fall from the weight. The only thing mold needs to grow is a little bit of moisture and warmth. A crawl space, this crawl space was an ideal location. We were able to go in, remove all the old insulation, clean everything out and do a full encapsulation. This includes drainage matting, CleanSpace, a Triple Safe sump pump. Once all this is completed the homeowners no longer need to worry about their crawl space and mold growth.
As you can see from the photos, cinder blocks were used to support the foundation of this home. Overtime settlement happened and wood planks were wedged in between the floor joist and the cinder blocks to provide extra support. The one stack of cinder blocks is just not even touching the floors boards at all. When settlement like this happens it can cause warping of floors, making it harder to open and close windows and doors. We can use a series of smart jacks and actually lift and level the floor back to its previous position.
These homeowners in Browder Kentucky always noticed a lot of water in their basement after a decent storm. This customer in Beechmont, KY decided to go with Frontier for a complete basement waterproofing system.
