This house was built in the early 1900s and had parts of an open foundation and dry stacked stone. It was converted to have central heat and air conditioning. Throughout the life of the home as items were placed under the crawl space trash was left and insulation had fallen. We came in and removed all old insulation and debris from the area.  We then encapsulated the crawl space using CleanSpace and SilverGlo to seal the outside foundation. This customer in Chapel Hill, TN had foundation settlement issues in his basement. The walls were cracking, bowing, and tilting. Foundation walls are designed to support loads from above, not from the side.
