We see this a lot, where the current vapor barrier is pulling away from the wall or was not properly installed. This is vital to the encapsulation process. If a material or animal is able to penetrate the vapor barrier or pull it away from the wall this can cause water and moisture to then enter the crawl space. Or bugs or spiders, whatever the case is it necessary to ensure that the vapor barrier is sealed properly to the supports and walls.

When it rained, the homeowners found new wet spots and smelled mold when they walked into their basement. The WaterGuard is a system of pipes with a unique design, which was improved over the years to help gather each drop of water that enters the basement. This system of pipes is installed around the perimeter of the basement walls to ensure it captures water getting in from any direction. You never know how the volume of water can increase, especially if you live in a lake area and it rains for days.
The WaterGuard system is only complete with a TripleSafe Sump Pump. The pipe system leads water to the sump pump, which then pumps the water out of the basement, where it escapes to a lawn. The outlet is installed at least 10 feet away from the house to ensure water doesn't return to the basement.

This customer in Murray, KY had multiple issues. There was concrete sinking and cracking in the garage, walkway, and the stairs to the front porch. There were also foundation settlement issues on the other side of the home.
For the cracking in the garage, and the sidewalk sinking we installed PolyLEVEL to lift and stabilize the garage flooring as well as the walkway, then added NexusPro joint sealant around the perimeter of the garage and the walkway to the front porch to seal any cracked areas.
On the other side of the home where there was a foundation settlement, we installed Helical Piers to lift and stabilize the foundation and StableBrick BowTie wall Stabilization to fix the bowing walls for a permanent solution.
This customer in Murray, KY had a basement waterproofing system in place, but due to his driveway settling adjacent to the suspended concrete garage, heavy rain had left some water in the basement below the garage. To mitigate this situation we installed WaterGuard where the water was intruding, new trench drains on the outside to prevent water from coming into the garage and basement, as well as CleanSpace on the walls to create a moisture barrier. This solution should solve these new water intrusion issues from now on, and the customer should not need to worry about water coming into the garage or basement from the outside again.
