We had a customer request an inspection of his crawl space. He had lived there for about 5 years and tried to fix his crawl space himself. Water in the crawl space was still an issue and he gave Frontier Basement Systems a call.

When our crew arrived at the home, they noticed cracks along the home's brick foundation, which are major signs of foundation shifting and settling. Helical piers were chosen as a solution. Holes were dug out in particularly weak spots around the foundation. The piers were placed in the holes where they were pushed into the soil by the turning helical plates. Once at the correct depth, the piers start to fully support and stabilize the foundation. Finally, the piers are covered and then packed with soil and straw.
