I grew up in a farming community in a small town in Nebraska. I moved with my family to Clarksville TN in 1999. I've worked with my family doing construction work since I was old enough to swing a hammer.
What I love most about this company is the hard work we do ever day to serve others as well as watching our employees and their familys grow.
In my spare time I enjoy spending most of my time outdoors Mountain Biking and riding my motorcycle.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing Frontier Basement Systems and welcome you to our family.
This home has some high ceilings, leaving a lot of cubic square foot to condition. Spray foam to seal and insulate the perimeter is the perfect permanent solution for this home. This add-on provides a tremendous amount of additional usable space now that it can be conditioned. A storage space this large is great if temperature can be controlled. If the air is not conditioned the extreme heat or cold may damage those treasured items.
The PolyLEVEL system is an approach to sinking concrete which is not only state of the art but the most minimally invasive solution to sinking concrete.
The home had a front porch that had dropped approximately 3.5 inches - likely to cause trips and falls. By drilling a hole smaller than a penny, structural grade polymers are injected into the void and the slab is lifted back to its original position.
The old wooden crawl space door had not only rotted but allowed for ground water, humidity, and outside temperatures to effect both the crawl space and of course the home.
50% of the air we breath in our home comes from the crawl space. If mold, mildew, and water is a concern in the crawl space it is a concern for the home above.
This home had been vacant for four years before the family moved in. When a home is not properly cared for for that long it can cause loads of trouble. The family had noticed moisture in the air, causing mold issues, and were on the receiving end of some bad allergies.
They wanted a healthier living space and just wanted to work with a company that they could trust.
We decided that the best route for them to eliminate their moisture problems was encapsulating their crawl space and installing a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. This dehumidifier is the world's most efficient, high-performance dehumidifier and filtration system. It stops mold growth, musty odors, and dust mites. This ultimately helps fight off bad allergy and asthma problems. It is important to take good care of your basement/crawlspace, because the air that is floating around under your living space will make its way up.
This crawl space went from unhealthy and dirty to healthy and clean!
We cleared out all of the debris and tore out the old moist insulation from the walls. After that, it was time for two of our most sought-after products- CleanSapce Liner and Drainage Matting. The matting does the very necessary job of becoming a channel for the flooding water to escape out from under your crawl space and into your drain and sump pump system. Our CleanSpace Liner is not only very durable, so you do not have to worry about sharp rocks ripping through, but it also helps seal out those cold winter drafts!
And then we installed one of the most important systems to ensure air quality... the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier!
This dehumidifier stops mold growth and lowers electricity costs over time!
This Tennessee family now has a nicely encapsulated crawl space that they don't have to worry about damaging their home's foundation or causing smelly odors upstairs!
This home in Woodlawn, Tennessee had multiple signs of foundation failure.
The wall was pushing-in at the bottom, sliding in at the top, horizontal cracks, stair step cracks, and bowing. The family is not protected with Power Braces.
The Power Brace system supports the basement wall. The PowerBrace is a Zinc coated beam and components, with a clean-cut appearance, and a patented tightening system. This is a joist reinforcement method that distributes weight evenly.
