Foundation Wall & Helical Anchor Systems
Wall Anchors
Many property owners who have cracking, bowed or buckling walls believe that their only option is to deal with the expense and inconvenience of rebuilding the entire wall. Fortunately, there are many alternatives that can restore the wall’s structural integrity without the need to resort to these measures.
At Frontier Basement Systems, Inc. we install the Grip-Tite® wall anchor system. This system includes an interior wall plate, an exterior earth anchor, and a connecting steel rod that combine to stabilize foundation walls by counteracting pressure exerted against them.
If the basement foundation has become cracked and bowed from lateral earth pressures increasing beyond the allowable design capacity of your walls, wall anchors are the best alternative for a property owner seeking to avoid rebuilding.
When installed, our wall anchors are spread across different locations in the wall, and rod extenders are used to avoid tampering with decks, gardens and other landscaping features. The entire process is less than a day’s labor. Because the foundation walls will not need to be rebuilt, the only significant change to the appearance and condition of the home will be the increased strength of the walls.
Don’t take a chance with your home investment by failing to repair failing foundation walls from hydrostatic pressure, expansive soil, or any other basement foundation wall issues.
Benefits of the Grip-Tite® Wall Anchor System:
- Minimum excavation and disruption of the yard, lawn, or landscaping.
- Fast installation- usually a day or less.
- Anchors can be installed any time of the year in any weather.
- Compatible installation with decks, landscaping or gardens.

Helical Anchors
Grip-Tite® helical anchors are a sensible alternative for commercial projects, large retaining walls, and situations where the installation of traditional wall anchors is not possible. A helical anchor (sometimes referred to as a tieback) is mechanically driven into the earth using a rotating hydraulic drive head. At Frontier Basement Systems, Inc., our products and experience ensure that we can find the best method to solve any problems with foundations. Our specialists can inspect the foundation to provide the solution that will give you peace of mind for many years to come.
