 A Tennessee family had been living in their home for 15 years and had been dealing with standing water in their basement for the past 5 years. They had called other professionals, but had said they were too expensive. The family needed a permanent solution to their flooding issues by experienced professionals without having to pay a fortune, so they knew they had to call Frontier Basement Systems.

With the help of the WaterGuard, seepage from the walls are captured before reaching the basement floor. Everett has lived in his Kentucky home for 20 years. This customer was very concerned about a tripping hazard and wanted it taken care of. Frontier eliminated the problem using PolyLevel injections to lift the slab back into position, and NexusPro to seal the cracks.

Our Foreman Javon helped a homeowner in Pleasant View, TN, resolve a problem with a concrete patio that developed huge cracks due to soil settlement. The patio was initially built as a carport with a concrete foundation. When the owners decided to turn it into a patio to enjoy a beautiful view of their wooded backyard, a second layer of concrete was added on top of the original one. The soil underneath wasn’t compact, which caused huge cracks on the top to appear.

The first thing Javon did was a void test to find out if there were any hollow places underneath the concrete. Once he found the spots causing the cracking, he drilled holes in several areas about 3 feet apart and applied a polyurethane foam sealer called PolyLevel. As the sealer cools down, it expands underneath, lifts the concrete, and levels it. Once the concrete was stabilized, Javon smoothed edges around the cracks, cleaned the area, and sealed the joints. This technique is more affordable and quicker than replacing the whole patio with fresh concrete. Javon had the job done in just a couple of hours while it was pouring down rain!
