Challenge

This Springhill family had been wanting to use their basement for storage for some time, but with lengthy rains causing water to leak through the back wall this was not an option.

Solution

The first part of the solution to get this basement dry and for it to remain that way permanently was to address the leaking wall by installing a WaterGuard system, this perforated pipe collects water from the floor and walls and drains it directly into the sump.

This is where we installed a high end Zoeller M53 Sump Pump, and discharge line to take water away from the property. Also draining excess water into the pump is a SaniDry XP Basement Air System, a dehumidifier to keep the moisture out of the air.

To finish off the project, we added new walls, doors and flooring - we are excited for this family to be able to use this great new living space!
